Welcome on our blog ZigZagAustralia.com!

We are Emma and Attila, the creators of this blog. We moved from Europe to Sydney at the beginning of 2008 because of work. Like most people there was not terribly much we knew about Australia, but we were very excited - of course! - to explore this continent.

At the beginning we made lots of pictures of almost every tree and each bird as they all seemed very exotic to us. Since we arrived here we have send many e-mails and even more pictures to our family and friends. Some of them have mentioned quite often how interesting our stories are and we should write a book once…

So here is our blog! This is more interactive than a book and maybe more useful for travelers. We want to share our experiences and stories, but also provide some tips and practical information at the same time. You will find many pictures and videos never seen before
